Melina Scarcella

Melina Scarcella has over 15 years of experience in the arts sector, currently serving as an Artists Services Officer at Creative Australia since August 2008, where additional roles include Senior Grants Officer, Acting Program Manager for Community Partnerships, and Program Officer in the same department. Prior experience includes positions at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection as an Intern and Assistant Intern Coordinator, and at Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia as a Visitor Services Officer. Melina's career also encompasses various roles at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, and as a Visitor Services Officer for the City of Sydney. Academic qualifications include a Master of Art Administration from UNSW Art & Design, a Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts from Sydney College of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Visual Arts, also from Sydney College of the Arts.
