Umair Aziz

Umair Aziz has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Umair started their career as a Software Engineer at Xchange Inc. in 2000. Umair then moved on to become an Executive Member at the National Commission for Science & Technology - Govt of Pakistan in 2006. In 2007, Umair founded Teleai Technologies, a business integration platform for the Telecom industry. In 2009, they co-founded Proximate Global Inc. and served as the CTO. In 2011, Umair became a Founding Partner at IVM Capital, where they invested in early-stage companies and provided mentorship. In 2012, they founded C2Pay Solutions, focusing on creating merchant-side payment solutions using mobile platforms. Umair joined Creative Chaos in 2005 as the Chief Innovation & Technology Officer, overseeing a portfolio of specialized businesses. Most recently, they became the Managing Director of RallyCry Ventures in 2019, a micro-VC fund investing in pre-seed startups.

Umair Aziz attended Karachi Grammar School from 1981 to 1996. Umair then pursued their undergraduate studies at The College of Wooster from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Economics. In 2012, Umair Aziz attended the Harvard Business School for an Executive Education program focused on Private Equity & Venture Capital.
