Micah Butler, MBA, PMP has extensive work experience in various roles within the military and private sector. Starting in 1990, Micah served as an Active Duty Member in the United States Marine Corps until 2020. During this time, Micah also held the position of Formal School Instructor from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Micah joined the Marine Corps' 7th Engineer Support Battalion as the Maintenance and Operations Officer in Charge. From 2005 to 2007, Micah served as the Engineer Platoon Commander and Unit Environmental Officer in the Marine Corps' Marine Air Control Squadron.

In 2007, Micah took on the role of Platoon Commander, Motor Transport and Utilities in the Marine Corps' Marine Wing Communications Squadron. From 2010 to 2013, Micah served as the Platoon Commander, Engineers in the Marine Corps' 9th Communications Battalion.

In 2013, Micah became the Maintenance Management Officer in the Marine Corps' 9th Engineer Support Battalion. From 2013 to 2015, Micah also held the position of Platoon Commander, Utilities within the same battalion.

In 2015, Micah transitioned to the position of MEF Utilities Officer in the Marine Corps' III Marine Expeditionary Force.

In 2016, Micah served as the Maintenance Production Officer for Marine Corps' 2d Maintenance Battalion, where they successfully analyzed and resolved maintenance and operational issues to improve efficiency and readiness.

Following their military career, Micah joined Creative Tent International, Inc. in 2022. They currently hold the roles of Program Manager and OEM and Commercial Sales Representative.

Throughout their career, Micah has demonstrated strong leadership, training, and management skills, as well as a commitment to improving efficiency and readiness in their roles.

Micah Butler, MBA, PMP has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and programs. In 1990, Micah graduated from Lamar County High School in Vernon, AL, receiving a diploma. Micah then pursued higher education, starting with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from Central Texas College, which was earned between 2004 and 2009.

Continuing their educational journey, Micah attended American Public University System from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management. Micah furthered their studies by enrolling in Webster University from 2012 to 2015, successfully completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with honors.

Parallel to their academic pursuits, Micah also participated in professional seminar programs offered by Marine Corps University. They completed the Expeditionary Warfare School program between 2006 and 2009 and attended the Command and Staff College program from 2010 to 2014. These programs provided Micah with valuable professional development opportunities.

Aside from their formal education, Micah has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 1996, Micah became certified as an Instructor of Water Survival/Certified Lifeguard through the Marine Corps Combat Swimming School and the American Red Cross. More recently, in 2014, Micah acquired certifications in Joint Humanitarian Operations from the U.S. Agency for International Development and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Continuous Process Improvement from the Third Marine Logistics Group. Lastly, in 2020, Micah earned the esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
