Spencer Britton

Spencer Britton is currently the Research Manager at Creature Comforts Brewing. Spencer has previous experience working as a Bioanalytical Research Associate and Quality Control Analyst.

Spencer Britton has over five years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Spencer started their career as a Quality Control Analyst at Synageva Biopharma Corp, where they managed the quality testing of raw materials for release to manufacturing. Spencer also developed, edited, and revised forms and methods for quality control testing support and cGMP compliance.

In November 2014, they transitioned to working as a Bioanalytical Research Associate at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In this role, they provided large molecule bioanalytical support and large molecule discovery. Spencer also developed, revised, and qualified methods for in-house use, as well as for transferring to contract research organizations (CROs). Additionally, they conducted protein purification, characterization, and conjugation for critical reagents.

Spencer Britton has a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, with a focus on quality control and bioanalytical research. Spencer is currently using their skills and knowledge to help Creature Comforts Brewing create innovative new products.

Spencer Britton has a BS in Chemistry from The University of Georgia.

They are on a team with Drew Wheeler - Technical Brewmaster, Jorge Virrueta - Packaging Manager, and Andrew Standridge - Packaging Maintenance & Training Manager. Their manager is Daniel Sossa, VP of Brewery Operations, Southern Mill.
