Vikas Sharma

Vikas Sharma is an experienced software professional with a strong background in data processing and application development. Currently serving as an Individual Contributor at CRED since May 2022, Vikas previously worked at Flipkart from September 2015 to May 2022, where significant contributions included leading the data platform team in the Flipkart M3 group and developing a real-time reporting system utilizing technologies like Spark Streaming and Kafka. Vikas also held multiple roles at Flipkart, helping to create a unified processing framework and an API layer for data abstraction. Prior experience includes roles as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research India, focusing on backend development for sports applications and various Android applications. Vikas began an academic journey at Aligarh Muslim University and furthered studies at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, culminating in a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
