Miguel Leiva Torres

Miguel Leiva Torres, MBA has extensive experience in the finance industry. Miguel started their career at Scotiabank in 2003 as an Associate in Corporate Finance, where they worked until 2009. Miguel then joined BBVA as an Executive Director in Global Markets Research, a position they held for over 10 years. In 2019, they transitioned within BBVA to become an Executive Director in the Infrastructure Sector. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Credicorp Capital as the Head of Equity Research.

Miguel Leiva Torres, MBA has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Universidad del Pacífico (PE). Miguel also holds an Executive MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Miguel has further certifications in financial modeling and valuation analysis from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI), and has obtained various certifications in advanced valuation, machine learning for finance, advanced Excel formulas and functions, mining valuation, investment strategies, and spreadsheet modeling from institutions such as NYU Stern Executive Education, University of Chicago, Columbia Business School, and Wharton Online. Additionally, Miguel has certifications in agile team building from LinkedIn and customer service foundations from the Project Management Institute.
