Chad Thiel

Chad Thiel, PMP, serves as the Director of Business Compliance at Credit Acceptance since April 2022. Previously, Chad owned Creative Craftwork from June 2017 to June 2022, focusing on sustainable furniture design and renovations. Chad also held various roles at Credit Acceptance from October 2016 to April 2020, including Director of Credit Reporting and PMO Manager, overseeing project leadership teams in strategic project execution. Chad's experience includes a directorial position at ALLY INSURANCE from September 2008 to September 2016, managing Product Delivery and PMO initiatives. Earlier career experience includes the role of Area Manager-Sales at COUNTRYWIDE FINANCIAL CORPORATION, Project Manager at PROJECT SOLUTIONS, LLC, and Inspection Manager at AK STEEL CORPORATION. Chad holds a Master of Arts in Financial Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy and a BA in Management from Northwood University.
