C U Arun Kumar

C U Arun Kumar has over 25 years of work experience in the banking industry. C U Arun started their career at Deutsche Bank India as an Industrial Trainee in Financial Control. C U Arun then worked at Centurion Bank as a Manager in Corporate Banking for almost a decade. After that, they joined HDFC Bank Limited as a Unit Head in Corporate Banking, where they successfully developed relationships with MNCs and large Indian corporates. In 2005, C U Arun Kumar joined Crédit Agricole CIB, where they have held various roles such as Director & Branch Head and Executive Director in Corporate Coverage. Currently, they are the Managing Director & Head of MNC Coverage for the Middle East & Africa region. In their current role, C U Arun Kumar is responsible for strategic leadership and growing the Corporate & Institutional franchise in the country.

C U Arun Kumar completed their education in a chronological manner. C U Arun first attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1987 to 1989, where they completed their standard 12 with a focus on accounting. Following this, from 1989 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in Accountancy at the University of Kerala. Finally, from 1992 to 1996, they furthered their studies at the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, obtaining an AICWA degree in Cost & Management Accountancy.
