Kareem Shakir

Kareem Shakir has extensive experience in the banking and information technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Section for CASA Risk & Finance IT projects at Crédit Agricole CIB since November 2010. In previous roles, Kareem has managed various crucial IT departments and initiatives, including serving as the Head of Architects in the ISAP/CSI Department, where responsibilities included technical architecture management and product management. Key achievements include the implementation of performance management systems, onboarding processes, and Lean Management transformation projects, which resulted in significant cost savings and improved efficiency. Prior to Crédit Agricole, Kareem held positions at Barclays Capital as a Software Analyst, SunGard as a Senior Software Engineer, and several other organizations, showcasing a strong technical background in software development and project management. Kareem holds a Master's degree in Computers and a Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, and Public Administration from Osmania University.
