Octavio Lievano

Octavio Lievano is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in multinational client coverage and investment banking. Currently serving as the Global Head of Multinational Client Coverage at Crédit Agricole CIB since August 2007, Octavio has developed international business strategies and led the Latin America multinational coverage efforts. Previous roles include Mexico Country Head and Mexico Corporate Coverage, where significant transactions exceeding US$10 billion were originated in the Mexican market. Octavio's career also encompasses key positions at Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, and PARIBAS, focusing on debt financing and credit structuring. Educational credentials include advanced studies from Columbia Business School, Brandeis School of Business and Economics, and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, complemented by a foundational degree in Accounting from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo.
