Eric Burton

Eric Burton has extensive work experience in the finance and technology industry. Eric is currently working at Credit Karma as a Senior Director of Product. Prior to this role, they were the Co-Founder, President, and COO of SeedFi, which was later acquired by Intuit/Credit Karma. Before SeedFi, they held the position of Vice President, overseeing growth, product, strategy, and analytics at Aura. Eric also served as the Director and General Manager of Consumer Installment Loans at Oportun. Earlier in their career, they worked at Capital One as a Senior Business Analyst for small business credit cards. Eric began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Applied Research Laboratories: The University of Texas at Austin.

Eric Burton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2006. Eric then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal/Fluid Systems from the same institution between 2006 and 2008.
