Miguel Cortes

Miguel Cortes has extensive work experience in the field of system engineering and administration. Miguel started their career at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. in 2014 as a Network Systems Technician, where they provided support for workstations, connectivity, and implemented network scalability. In 2016, they joined Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. as a System Administrator, responsible for managing user needs, deploying computer systems, and configuring network appliances. In 2017, they moved to DENSO as a System Administrator before being promoted to Senior System Engineer in 2018. Currently, Cortes is working at Credit One Bank as a Lead DevOps Engineer since 2021, and previously held the role of Senior System Engineer.

Miguel Cortes has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Miguel then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Purdue Global, completing it from 2015 to 2017. Miguel recently obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Purdue Global in 2021. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications in the field, including AWS Solutions Architect Certification Training, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA). Miguel is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, which they expect to receive in 2025.
