Jeremiah Rivas

Jeremiah Rivas has extensive experience in information security and risk management, currently serving as the National Information Systems Officer at NCUA since March 2012, focusing on security reviews for large credit unions. Previous roles include Regional Information Systems Officer and Principal Examiner at NCUA, where responsibilities encompassed technical analysis of information systems, risk assessment, compliance training, and supervision of credit unions. Prior experience includes serving as a Financial Institution Specialist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, with a focus on risk and compliance examinations, as well as roles in legal support and sales in the private sector. Jeremiah Rivas holds advanced degrees in Leadership and Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Park University.
