Nicholas Linn

Nicholas Linn is an experienced trial attorney currently serving at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission since August 2021, where responsibilities include leading investigations and negotiating recalls for hazardous consumer products, as well as advising CPSC leadership on statutory authorities. Prior roles include serving as a judicial law clerk at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, where Nicholas drafted court opinions, and as a student attorney in various legal clinics, where representation included civil litigation and advocacy. Nicholas gained experience as a legal intern in the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division and has a background in journalism, having worked for publications such as Foreign Policy and Egypt Oil & Gas, where investigative reporting focused on critical social and political issues in the Middle East. Nicholas holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Arkansas.
