Sana Chriss is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in consumer protection and regulatory law. Currently serving as a Consumer Affairs Program Officer at the NCUA since April 2021, Sana oversees the Consumer Assistance Center program, ensuring compliance with federal consumer protection laws for federal credit unions. Prior to this role, Sana was an Attorney at the Federal Trade Commission from March 2004 to April 2021, where responsibilities included advising the FTC Chairman on civil proceedings and developing policies to combat spam practices. Earlier legal experience includes positions at Arent Fox and Keller and Heckman LLP. Sana holds an A.B. from Duke University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
