Laura Rundle

Conservation Lands Planner at Credit Valley Conservation

Laura Rundle is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as a Conservation Lands Planner at Credit Valley Conservation since October 2012, where responsibilities include coordinating the development of management plans for Conservation Areas. Prior to this, Laura held roles as a Land Steward at rare Charitable Research Reserve and as a Lands Monitoring Crew Leader at Credit Valley Conservation, where project management and data analysis were key functions. Additional experience includes an Energy Audit Intern position at Niagara Parks Commission, a Geotechnical Student role with the Ministry of Transportation, and a Water and Sewer Summer Student position with the City of North Bay. Laura holds an Honours BA in Environmental Geography from Nipissing University and a Certificate in Environmental Studies from Niagara College.

Credit Valley Conservation

Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) is a local conservation authority established by the Ontario government in 1954 to protect, restore and enhance the natural environment of the Credit River watershed. That watershed is the area of land where all rainfall, snowmelt and runoff drain into lands and waters flowing into the Credit River. CVC creates connections between people and nature, knowledge and action. It inspires a deep appreciation for the role of nature in keeping people connected, healthy and happy.
