Umesha H S

Umehsa H S has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as a Field Investigator at the Institute for Social and Economic Change in Bangalore in 2006 and worked there until 2007. Following that, they joined CreditAccess Grameen Limited as an Assistant Manager - MIS from 2007 to 2009.

In 2008, Umehsa joined Sanghamithra Rural Financial Services as a MIS Manager, where they remained until their role transitioned to CreditAccess Grameen Limited in 2022. At CreditAccess Grameen Limited, their role shifted to Analytics & MIS Report Manager, where they currently work.

In between their roles at CreditAccess Grameen Limited, Umehsa also worked at IIFL Samasta Finance Limited as a Manager MIS and Data Analyst from 2018 to 2022. Overall, Umehsa has developed a strong background in MIS, data analysis, and management throughout their career.

Umasha H S attended The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a PUC degree in HEPS. In the same year, they also completed their SSLC from Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board.

From 1999 to 2001, Umasha H S pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Mysore.

They continued their education at the University of Mysore from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master's degree in Economics.

In 2006 and 2007, Umasha H S attended Vinayaka Missions Sikkim University, where they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.

In 2010 and 2011, they returned to the University of Mysore to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Development (PGDHR).

Most recently, Umasha H S completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics at the University of Mysore from 2016 to 2020.

Additionally, Umasha H S has obtained several certifications including a Data Analysis with R programming certification from Commacad in December 2022, a Data Processing using Python DP-02-B certification from Indian Statistical Institute(SQC & OR) in January 2022, a Business Analytics using R (BA-09) certification from Indian Statistical Institute(SQC & OR) in October 2021, a Financial Management in MFI certification from Andhra Pradesh Mahila Abhivruddhi Society in July 2009, an Analysis of Financial Statements certification from Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) in February 2009, a Quantitative Methods in Labour Research certification from V.
