Aashna Malhotra is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Aashna began their career in 2012 as a Tele-Fundraiser at the Ryerson University Alumni Fund, where they were responsible for procuring funds for Ryerson University initiatives and scholarships. In 2013, they were an Intern at Global Political Trends Center and a Resident Advisor at Ryerson University. In 2015, they were an Intern at Karmany. In 2017, they were an Intern, Projects & Programmes at IkamvaYouth. In 2018, they were an Independent Consultant at Global Affairs Canada | Affaires mondiales Canada and an Operations Associate at Bloom Impact P.B.C. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Executive, Consulting at the National Institute for Smart Government and a Content Creator and Community Builder at CreditEnable. Currently, they are a Member of the Board of Directors for the MGA Alumni Network at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy.
Aashna Malhotra completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies from Ryerson University in 2015. Aashna then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Arts, Leadership and Humanities from Ashoka University in 2016. After that, they completed their Masters of Global Affairs in International/Global Studies from the University of Toronto in 2018.
