Mike Lavin

Mike Lavin has extensive experience in the financial industry, having held various senior leadership roles. Mike recently joined CreditSights as the Head of Data and Analytics. Prior to that, they spent five years at Refinitiv as the Global Head of Capital Markets Insight, where they oversaw multiple specialized businesses generating $60M in annual revenue and managed a global staff of 100+. Before Refinitiv, Mike worked at Thomson Reuters for over a decade, serving as the Global Head of Thomson Reuters LPC and doubling revenues in five years. Mike also held positions as the Global Head of Marketing - Fixed Income and the Regional Business Manager - Fixed Income, Americas, where they coordinated efforts to grow revenue and market share in North and South America. Mike began their career at Loan Pricing Corporation, where they worked for over a decade and held the role of Director of Products and Data/Executive Committee Member. During their tenure there, they were responsible for all aspects of the business and played a key role in strategic planning, business development, and product portfolio management.

Mike Lavin's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems and Services from Fordham Gabelli School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University.
