Marco Aurélio Bottino Junior has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marco Aurélio began their career in 1998 as an Associate at Huck Otranto Camargo and worked there until 2002. Marco Aurélio then joined Machado Meyer Advogados as a Senior Associate and remained there until 2006. In 2007, Marco became a Foreign Counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and stayed until 2008.

Afterwards, they joined Capitânia Investimentos as the General Counsel from 2008 to 2010. Marco then became a Partner at Blackwood Investimentos from 2010 to 2015, and subsequently at Zion Invest from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they founded their own law firm, Bottino Advogados, and served as a Founding Partner until 2022.
