Daniel Doktori

Daniel Doktori is a lawyer and business executive who has dedicated their career to empowering underserved communities and promoting transparency in government. Daniel is currently the Chief of Staff and General Counsel at Credly, a digital credentials company, and a member of the board of directors at both HYPOTHEkids and OpenSecrets.

Doktori began their career as a founding member of TechGC, a nonprofit organization that connects in-house counsel at technology companies with resources and networking opportunities. Daniel then spent two years as an associate at WilmerHale, a top law firm, before returning to academia as a teaching assistant at Harvard Law School's Negotiation and Mediation Clinic Program.

After graduating from Harvard Law School, Doktori became the Executive Director of a Governor's task force on Diversifying the NYS Economy through Industry-Higher Education Partnerships. Daniel then returned to the private sector as Chief of Staff and General Counsel at Credly. In this role, they oversee partnerships, business development, investor relations, legal affairs, people operations, and cheering on the Credly team.

Doktori is also deeply committed to giving back to their community. Daniel serves on the board of directors of HYPOTHEkids, an organization that empowers underserved K12 students with quality STEAM education and mentorship experiences. Daniel is also a member of the board of directors of OpenSecrets, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to bringing transparency to money in politics and tracking its effects on elections and public policy.

Through their work at Credly, HYPOTHEkids, and OpenSecrets, Daniel Doktori is making a positive impact on the world by promoting social justice and government transparency.

Daniel Doktori attended Harvard Law School from 2010 to 2013 and received their J.D. Daniel then attended Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs from 2005 to 2007 and received their MIA. Daniel also attended Stanford University from 2000 to 2004. Finally, they attended Fieldston High School. Daniel is also a DocuSign CLM Administration Specialist 2021 and IBM Blockchain Essentials.
