Lorraine Petel

Lorraine Petel is an experienced audio host, writer, and music programmer with a diverse background in radio and event programming. Currently serving as the host and writer for "Words of Wisdom" at CREEM, Lorraine engages with artists to explore their personal mottos. Previously, as a radio host and producer for NTS LIVE LTD, Lorraine crafted an educational music show called "Yesterday’s News," featuring various punk and hardcore bands while collaborating with prominent figures and brands. With a strong foundation in marketing, publicity, and social media management, Lorraine has made significant contributions to organizations such as the Recording Academy and Sonos, and has participated in film festival programming roles focused on documentary films. Lorraine holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree from King’s College London in Cultural Studies.
