Catherine Brooks

Catherine Brooks is currently a Professor of Law at Creighton University School of Law, where a focus on Family Law, particularly children's issues, has been emphasized since July 1990. Additionally, Catherine has served as President of the University Faculty at Creighton University from 2018 to 2020 and volunteers as a mediator at the Concord Center. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law and as a Senior Trial Attorney at the New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate, representing children in cases of abuse or neglect. Catherine's educational background includes a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and Catherine is pursuing an M.S. in Dispute Resolution with a Family Law Concentration from the Werner Institute of Negotiations and Dispute Resolution at Creighton University.
