Louis Lavoie

Louis Lavoie has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several companies. Louis served as the Managing Director at Crescent Capital Group LP from 2005 onwards, where they were responsible for overseeing the Investment Strategy, Sourcing, and Portfolio Management of Crescent Credit Solutions in Europe. Louis was also a Member of the global Investment Committee and served on the Board of various entities.

Louis Lavoie later joined Conduit Capital Partners in 2019 as a Member of the Board of Advisors.

Before that, they worked at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) starting from 1998. During their time there, they held the role of Senior Director and was responsible for managing the CDPQ European Debt portfolio, which included public High Yield Bonds, Senior Leveraged Loans, and Mezzanine Financing. Louis also supervised the European Debt Team and coordinated the activity of the Private Equity Fund Investment Team. Their tenure at CDPQ lasted until 2004.

Louis Lavoie's work experience began at Scotiabank in 1988, where they served as a Credit Manager until 1998.

Louis Lavoie has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from Université Laval. Louis obtained this degree from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance and International Management from HEC Montréal, which they completed from 1990 to 1993.
