Jessica Buchanan

Jessica Buchanan is an experienced educator with a focus on talent development and curriculum design. Since 2010, Jessica has served at Crescent City Schools in various roles, including Talent Development Coordinator, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and First Grade and Fourth Grade Teacher and Grade Level Leader. Prior to this, Jessica worked at KIPP New Orleans as a First Grade Teacher and Grade Level Leader from 2008 to 2010, and began a career in education with Teach For America, where Jessica taught First Grade from 2006 to 2008. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Louisiana State University, earned in 2006.
