Lois Geddes, CHIA has extensive work experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry. Lois has held various roles in several companies, including Crescent Hotels & Resorts as Vice President Sales and Marketing in the New York City Region. Prior to that, they served as the Complex Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott Central Park South for Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Lois was also the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Pyramid Hotel Group and worked as a Director of Sales in Task Force for Sunstone Hospitality Management. Additionally, they were the Director of Sales and Marketing at Holiday Inn Boise and Doubletree Hotels Boise. Lois has experience as a Director of Group Sales for Doubletree Hotels and a Senior Sales Manager for Red Lion Hotels.

Lois started their career as a Sales Representative for Sun Valley Resort and later founded their own consulting company, offering sales and marketing consultation services to hotels to increase revenue, brand awareness, and overall performance.

Lois Geddes, CHIA, completed their education at Boise State University from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Business. Prior to that, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1981 to 1982, also focusing on Business. In addition to their academic background, Lois obtained their CHIA certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in November 2015.
