Hassan Fattah began their career as an Associate Editor at Chemicalweek in 1994. Hassan then moved on to work as an Associate Editor at Consumer Reports from 1996 to 2000. In 2004, they joined The New York Times as a Middle East Correspondent until 2007. Fattah then became the Editor-in-Chief at The National from 2007 to 2013. Hassan transitioned to GEMS Education as the Director of Communications in 2013, where they focused on various aspects of communications strategy and branding. In 2014, Fattah joined Brunswick Group as a Partner until 2017. Following this, they served as the Managing Director at ASDA'A Burson-Marsteller from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Fattah holds the position of Director of Communications at Crescent Petroleum since 2018.
Hassan Fattah pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. Later, they furthered their studies at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a Master's degree in Journalism.
