John Kennedy has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Commissioning Site Lead for the Khor Mor Gas/NGL KM500 Project at Crescent Petroleum since January 2025. Prior to this role, John was the Process Commissioning Lead Engineer on the same project and previously held positions such as Mechanical Technical Lead at Exyte for a data center project, Snr System Completions Engineer and Commissioning Lead at Tengizchevroil for the Future Growth Project, and Lead Project Engineer at Uniper for hydrocarbon power plant modifications. Additional roles include Commissioning Engineer and Startup Focal Point at Equinor, Production Startup Focal Point at Aker Solutions, Senior HSE Advisor at Shell, and Commissioning & Startup Supervisor at NCOC for the Kashagan Project. Earlier experience includes positions with Shell and Sigma 3 JV. John holds a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Oil & Gas Management from LSIB and an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Wirral Met College.
