Mqm Amira A.

Amira A. has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Amira started their career in 2002 as a Financial and Managerial Accounting Tutor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Contract Data Management System Coach at Syncrude Canada Ltd. Amira then joined TD, where they held roles as a Financial Service Advisor from 2006 to 2008, and as a Manager of Customer Service from 2008 to 2012.

In 2012, Amira joined ADNOC Group as a Business Planning and Strategy Officer, and later also served as an Executive Secretary & Technical Support from 2012 to 2013. Amira worked at Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry as an External Assessor for Dubai Quality Award for a 6-month project in 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Amira worked at Ottawa Islamic Private School as a Business Studies & ESL Teacher, where they developed lesson plans, assisted in curriculum development, and completed class/student reports.

In 2017, Amira joined Crescent Petroleum as a QMS Senior Document Controller. And most recently, from 2020 to 2021, they worked at HALI MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCIES as an Adjunct Faculty, instructing classes and delivering modules on International Business and Economics, and providing one-on-one support to students in English and Business Studies.

Amira A., MQM has a Master's degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Amira also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Lakehead University, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Amira has an Associate's degree in Business Administration-Accounting and another Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, both earned from 2001 to 2005. Amira has also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Business/Management from Lakehead University, and completed a program in Tesol from Oxford seminars.
