Jason Erkes

Jason Erkes has spent their career on the front lines of some of the biggest crisis situations in recent memory. As a journalist, they reported on some of the biggest stories of the day. Jason then transitioned into advising and counseling those who found themselves in the middle of a crisis. In 2016, they founded Crisis Strategy Group (CSG) to help prepare and coach organizations facing crisis situations.

As the legal cannabis industry has emerged, Jason has become an expert on the scrutiny that these businesses face. Jason has helped many cannabis companies instill a culture of crisis preparedness, helping them to avoid some of the pitfalls that can destroy a reputation in seconds. Jason currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer & Spokesperson at Cresco Labs.

Jason Erkes has a BA in Marketing Communications/Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Communications from Western Illinois University.

Jason Erkes reports to Charlie Bachtell, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Mo Dastagir - CIO, Zach Marburger - Entrepreneur In Residence, and Dennis Olis - CFO.
