Ryan Benton

Ryan Benton has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Ryan started their career at Wells Fargo as a Branch Manager from 2002 to 2006. Ryan then moved to BB&T, where they worked as a Small Business Banker and Financial Center Leader from 2006 to 2012, and later as a Commercial Banker from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they joined United Bank as Market President. In 2019, they transitioned to CresCom Bank, where they held the roles of Charleston Market Executive and Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending.

Ryan Benton earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The Citadel in the years 1997 to 2001. Ryan later attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU from 2015 to 2018, studying Banking and Financial Support Services. Additionally, they also attended the BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University, although the start and end years are not provided.
