Dick Hall

Dick Hall is a Partner and Managing Director in Cresset’s Minneapolis office. He brings 25 years of industry experience and a practical, collaborative approach to his work advising families.

At Cresset, Dick functions as the main point of contact for client families and their advisors. He leads an experienced team that builds long-term relationships with families by providing thoughtful advice, exceptional service, modern technology, and customized investment programs. As an owner, Dick is also involved in business development, introducing Cresset to professional advisors and potential clients.

Before joining Cresset, Dick spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he led a team that provided advice to ultra-high net worth families. Prior to that, he held wealth management positions at SunGard, FolioDynamix, and Piper Jaffray. Dick holds a BA from the University of Iowa.

Dick is a frequent competitor in amateur golf tournaments, supports junior golf in Minnesota, and is a longtime member of the Minneapolis Golf Club. He is a Minnesota Twins fan and season ticket holder. He is an active member of City of Lakes Rotary and serves on the board of directors of the Animal Humane Society.
