As a member of the Corporate Nursing Consultant team, you will:
Provide support, consultation and leadership to our Skilled Nursing and Behavioral Health facilities. Position keeps executive management informed of regulatory changes, opportunities for improvement in services, assists with policy development related to nursing and medical care and support the campuses in developing plans of corrections for licensure surveys. This position requires excellent communication and abilities to collaborate with our campus leaders. Requires extensive knowledge of both State and Federal regulations, Survey Process, Surveyor Guidelines, and Informal Dispute Resolution process. Must possess critical reasoning and nursing care assessment skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires a current California license as a Registered Nurse. Candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Nurse Consultant and/or Director of Nursing in long-term care. Experience in Behavioral Health Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
