Alissa Larue

Alissa LaRue is a dynamic professional currently serving as a Grant Writing Intern at Crete Academy Charter School, where responsibilities include managing grant applications and conducting research to secure funding and partnerships. Prior experience includes a Business Development Intern role focused on supporting unhoused students in Los Angeles, and a graduate-level tutor at Pepperdine University in Research Methods and Statistics. Alissa has also contributed to various organizations, including Seaside Sustainability, as the Environmental Justice Department Manager, and served in multiple roles in hospitality, including as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. Alissa holds a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies from Arizona State University.
