Sherman Misa

Sherman Misa has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Sherman is currently serving as the VP Accounting & Corporate Controller at Crexi since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at The Honest Company, holding positions such as VP - Treasury, Tax & SOX, VP - Corporate Controller, and Sr. Director - Corporate Controller from 2018 to 2021. Sherman also worked as the Corporate Controller at The Proactiv Company and Lieberman Productions from 2016 to 2018. Sherman's earlier experiences include working as the Assistant Controller at Toyota North America from 2012 to 2016 and as the Director of Accounting & Reporting at Henry Company from 2008 to 2012. Sherman started their career at Grant Thornton LLP as a Manager in Audit/Assurance and worked there from 2002 to 2008.

Sherman Misa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an Accounting Emphasis from UC Santa Barbara. Sherman is also an inactive Certified Public Accountant certified by the California Board of Accountancy.
