Auke de Haan

Auke de Haan is a seasoned professional in the finance and investment banking sectors with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance. Currently, Auke serves as the Associate Vice President of Strategy & Development (M&A) at CRH, a position held since March 2020, following roles as Manager, Senior Analyst, and Analyst in the same department. Prior to CRH, Auke was an Investment Banking Analyst focused on Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure at Jefferies from June 2018 to February 2020, and held corporate finance roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Nomura. Auke began a career in finance as a Junior Consultant at Varova Investments and an Investment Banking Intern at Leonardo & Co. Auke holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Erasmus School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Finance from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a summer course in Advanced Corporate Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
