Devon L. George, MSN, RN has a diverse work experience in various roles within the healthcare and education sectors. Starting in 2011, Devon began working as a Student Supplement Support Specialist for the R.N. Achievement Grant at the Community College of Allegheny County. In 2012, Devon transitioned to the role of Nursing Education Clinical Adjunct Faculty & Data Administrator at the same institution.
In 2016, Devon joined Duquesne University School of Nursing as the Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment for the Online Programs. Devon held this position until 2018 when they took on the role of Director of Undergraduate Clinical Affairs & Adjunct Faculty.
Most recently, in 2019, Devon became the Chief Programs Officer at Cribs for Kids Headquarters. With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and a Registered Nurse (RN) license, Devon's experience in leadership positions and clinical teaching demonstrates a strong commitment to nursing education and program development.
Devon L. George, MSN, RN obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Magna Cum Laude honors from Denison University. Later, they earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from the Community College of Allegheny County. Furthermore, Devon pursued a Master's of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition to their academic achievements, Devon also holds a certification as a Registered Nurse from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They have obtained various other certifications, including Basic Lifesaving Skills for Healthcare Providers (CP & AED), Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Social & Behavioral Research, and Global Development & Humanitarian Aid Training in Essentials in Humanitarian Practice.

Cribs for Kids is to prevent infant sleep-related deaths by educating parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep for their babies and by providing portable cribs to families who, otherwise, cannot afford a safe place for their babies to sleep.
