Marisol Alvarado currently serves as the Vice President of Programs at Monarch School Project, where responsibilities include overseeing the Social Emotional Learning team and implementing evidence-based practices such as Trauma Informed Care and Restorative Practices. With a history of leadership roles at the same organization, including Senior Director of Student Services and Interim Chief Executive Officer, Marisol has extensive experience in programmatic oversight, particularly in social, emotional, and life skills development for students. Previously, Marisol worked as the Director of Parent Engagement at the San Diego County Office of Education. Marisol holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Chicano Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
