Trine Stensgaard Madsen

Trine Stensgaard Madsen has a diverse work experience in design and communication. Trine is currently working as the Head of Design at Criipto since February 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Product Designer at the same company from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Criipto, Trine had their own design and communication business called Trine Madsen - Design & communication, which they operated from December 2001 onwards. As part of their business, they worked on various projects, including the UX and design for Falck Global Assistance's customer self-service portal.

Trine also has experience in the film production and animation industry. Trine worked as a COO and Witch at Rig21 & Rebel Nature from April 2021 to October 2021. Their responsibilities included creating online profiles and websites for the companies and contributing to shaping the organization and workflow.

Prior to that, Trine worked as a Senior UX and Digital Designer at Nuuday from August 2018 to April 2021. Trine focused on improving the user experience on tdc.dk using co-creation and design thinking methodologies.

Trine also worked at PANDORA as a Digital Art Director & UXer from February 2018 to August 2018. Their role involved developing an augmented reality app and creating an online bracelet guide for men.

Trine gained experience in brand, UX, and product design as a Brand, UX, and Product Designer at Criipto from June 2017 to February 2018. Trine contributed to the development of a GDPR app, conducting user research, ideation workshops, and designing web and app prototypes.

Trine worked as a Senior UX and Digital Designer at KMD from October 2015 to May 2017. Trine played a key role in establishing a UX department and coaching junior colleagues, guiding KMD towards an agile and user-centered approach.

Their early career includes roles as an Art Director, concept creator, and digital designer at AHEAD/Valtech from 1998 to 2001. Trine also worked as a Web and Graphic Designer at Eliasson og Co/TBWA from September 1996 to January 1998.

Trine Stensgaard Madsen holds a Bachelor's degree in Building Architecture from KADK - Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole, which they completed from 1988 to 1991. Trine later pursued a Master's degree in Design and Applied Arts at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design, and Conservation (KADK) from 2015 to 2016.
