Richard Graham

Principle Engineer - Mechanical Systems at Orbex Space

Richard Graham has over 19 years of experience in the engineering field. Richard began their career in 2002 as a Design Engineer and Ride and Handling Engineer at Multimatic. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at McLaren Racing as an Aero Technology and Correlation Design Engineer and Wind Tunnel Design Engineer. In 2016, they moved to Manor Racing as a Senior Model Design Engineer. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Xtrac Ltd as a Design Engineer. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Reaction Engines and is currently a Senior Design Engineer at Orbex. Throughout their career, Richard has managed teams, designed components and jigs, and integrated himself quickly into existing teams. Richard has also worked on projects such as the Pre-Burner project, the HX3 team, the Vibration Test Rig, the Australian V8 Supercar series, the wind tunnel model, and the design of correlation and calibration equipment.

Richard Graham attended Oxford Brookes University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Automotive Engineering.
