Pranav Chopra is the founder and managing director of Crimson Healthcare, a healthcare consulting company based in India. Pranav has a background in mechanical engineering and has worked in the medical device industry for several years in both the United States and India.
Chopra began their career as a research assistant at the Institute for Manufacturing in the UK, where they worked on developing a new manufacturing process for micro-electronic and micro-fluidic medical devices. Pranav then moved to the United States and worked as a field engineer for McDermott International Inc. before returning to India to work as a consultant for Sagentia.
In 2014, Chopra was selected as a Stanford-India Biodesign Fellow, and they spent a year working at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Pranav then returned to Stanford University for a six-month fellowship, during which time they developed a new medical device to treat heart failure.
Chopra has been working in the healthcare industry for over 10 years and has experience in both product development and clinical care. Pranav is passionate about improving healthcare access and quality in India and is committed to making Crimson Healthcare a leading provider of healthcare consulting services in the country.
Pranav Chopra has a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Industrial Systems Manufacturing and Management from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Industrial and Product Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Pranav also went to The Air Force School.
