Alfonso Camacho

Alfonso Camacho serves as the Associate Director of Analytical Lab Operations at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals since October 2025. Prior to this role, Alfonso held the position of Staff Scientist in Analytical at Dexcom from May 2023 to October 2025. Experience in the pharmaceutical field includes a role as a Scientist in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2017 to May 2023, and earlier experience as a Research Associate in Analytical Development/Quality Control at Regulus Therapeutics from August 2014 to September 2017. Alfonso began the career as a Research Associate in Analytical Development at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation and served as a Quality Control Chemist at PolyPeptide Laboratories. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida (2018 - 2019) and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Arizona (2006 - 2011). Early education was completed at St Augustine High School, graduating in 2006.
