Maria Santto is a freelance photographer and videographer with a specialization in human interest stories. They have worked with various organizations such as the Finnish Red Cross and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in roles related to audiovisual production and communications. Maria has also worked as a guest lecturer in documentary photography and visual literacy. Their educational background includes a BA Hons in Documentary Film & TV from the University of Wales and a One Year Certificate in Documentary photography and photojournalism from the International Center of Photography.
