Marina Danoyan

Marina Danoyan is an experienced project manager specializing in peace initiatives and international relations. Currently serving as the Project Manager for Women in Peacemaking at CMI — Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation since December 2021, Marina has previously worked as a Senior Project Manager for the Syria Initiative at Felm and as a Project Officer in Eurasia and MENA Programmes at CMI from June 2009 to January 2021. Early in Marina's career, roles included Assistant to the Ambassador at the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia from November 2004 to September 2008. Marina's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Tampere University and a degree in International Trade with Eastern European countries from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). Additionally, studies at the Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki, led to a degree in Russian and Eastern European Studies.
