Karen Foster

Karen Foster is an experienced educator and community volunteer with a robust background in early childhood education and organizational leadership. Since 2015, Karen has served as a volunteer at Crisis Nursery and has held several board member positions, including at Family Services of Champaign County Board and the Multicultural Community Center. Additionally, Karen has been an active member of Rotary since 2009. Teaching 3-year-olds at First Baptist Church Preschool since 2006 exemplifies Karen's dedication to early childhood education, while previous roles as director at Champaign County Nursing Home Child Care Center and First Baptist Church Nursery School highlight significant administrative expertise in managing educational programs and developing policies. Karen holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Guidance and Counseling and multiple undergraduate degrees in education from Eastern Illinois University.
