Frank Sturniolo

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor at Crisis Prevention Institute

Frank Sturniolo is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on pediatric emergency care. Since August 2009, Sturniolo has served as an Educator/Supervisor and Trauma Nurse at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, a Level I Trauma center, managing approximately 85,000 patients annually. Sturniolo also holds roles as a Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor with the Crisis Prevention Institute and as the Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course Director for San Diego ENPC, coordinating training for emergency room nurses in pediatric care. Previous experience includes work as an Emergency Room Nurse with Cross Country TravCorps and AMN Healthcare, as well as a Nursing Extern at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center. Sturniolo began a career in emergency services as a volunteer EMT-B/Firefighter at Genoa Clay Center Volunteer Fire Department.
