Stephanie Schaefer

Stephanie Schaefer MS is an experienced professional in the field of mental and behavioral health, currently serving as a Positive Support Professional and Mental and Behavioral Health Specialist at WACOSA since June 1994. Stephanie specializes in developing and training Positive Behavioral Supports, and holds certifications as a Person Centered Thinking Trainer and Crisis Intervention Trainer. Additionally, Stephanie has been an active member of the Expanded Program Review Committee at the MN Department of Human Services since November 2016, and has worked as a Course Instructor for the Crisis Prevention Institute since June 2014. As the owner of SMS Consulting One since January 2008, Stephanie has also leveraged expertise in the industry. Stephanie earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The College of St. Scholastica.
