Ronald Dijks has a diverse range of experience in software development. Ronald currently works as a Full Stack Developer at Crisp, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, Ronald ran their own software development consultancy company, Ronald Dijks Research & Development, from October 2019 to the present. In this role, they specialized in building online and DSP software solutions, including developing full Jamstack websites and creating DSP algorithms.
Ronald has also worked as a freelancer for KoalaDSP since May 2021, focusing on research and development. Ronald has developed APIs to automate business processes and created a toolchain for compiling audio plugins to WebAssembly.
Before their freelance work, Ronald was a Tech Lead at denise audio from November 2018 to October 2019. Here, they transitioned their online platform from JavaScript to TypeScript and developed and maintained a GraphQL Apollo Server.
Ronald started their career as a Software Developer at Hoppinger, where they worked as a 2nd-year intern from May 2017 to August 2018. Ronald worked on multiple ASP.NET Core client projects and gained experience in front-end development using TypeScript and React.
In 2016, Ronald briefly worked as a Back End Developer at Floro Webdevelopment.
Ronald Dijks began their education in 2009 at Wolfert van Borselen, where they pursued a Bilingual Havo degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, studying Communication and Media Studies as part of their Bachelor of Communication and Multimedia degree. Ronald then shifted their focus to Computer Science, enrolling at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2021, where they earned their Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
