Jonathan Lee

Studio Artist at Critical Mass

Jonathan Lee has a diverse work experience in the design and motion graphics field. Jonathan started their career as a Motion Designer at Ogilvy & Mather in 2014 and later worked as a Junior Graphic Assistant at Megalomedia. At Megalomedia, they recreated TV graphics for a show called Shipping Wars UK.

Jonathan then had a Freelance Designer role at Formless H&O before joining ILLUMINATION illuminating brands as an Intern. There, they designed birthday cards and created presentations. Jonathan also helped develop ideas for valentine's cards/videos for clients.

In 2012, Jonathan worked as a Student Ambassador and Motion Graphics Designer at Ravensbourne, where they contributed to creating a promo and coordinated the motion graphics team for the annual industry day event.

From 2016 to 2019, Jonathan worked at Wonderful Content, where they had roles as a Designer and an Intern. Jonathan assisted in creating graphics for Dreamworks and website graphics. Jonathan also color graded videos, manipulated images in Photoshop, and assisted in studio management and filming.

Jonathan's most recent position was as a Motion Designer/Editor at Saddington Baynes from 2021 to 2022. Jonathan utilized various software such as C4D, Octane, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Davinci Resolve. Jonathan performed tasks such as color grading, editing, and compositing for clients such as Avon, Gaggenau, Honda, and more.

Currently, Jonathan is a Studio Artist at Critical Mass, starting in 2023. Further information about their role and responsibilities is not available.

Jonathan Lee attended Ravensbourne University London from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (honors) in Motion Graphics. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they studied at Westminster Kingsway College and earned a BTEC National diploma in Art & Design digital.
