Joseph McGlumphy has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Joseph started their career as a Merchandising Intern at Converse in 2013. Following that, they worked at Critical Mass as an Account Coordinator from June 2014 to March 2015, then as an Assistant Account Executive from March 2015 to May 2016, and later as an Account Executive from March 2016 to May 2017. At Critical Mass, they provided daily account support, managed projects, developed social media channel and content plans, and analyzed social media performance data.

In 2018, Joseph joined Mirum Agency as an Account Supervisor for a year, where they were responsible for overseeing accounts. Joseph then returned to Critical Mass in 2019, this time as a Digital Strategist. In this role, they worked directly with clients, provided daily account support, managed projects, and analyzed social media performance data.

In 2019, Joseph joined Weber Shandwick as a Manager, Client Experience Digital. Joseph served as a day-to-day social strategy client lead, managed a full content publishing program, and led proactive and reactive social communication programs for clients like Got Milk?, Kellogg's, and Tracfone Wireless.

Joseph is currently working at Critical Mass as a Senior Account Manager, responsible for managing client work for the agency, managing branding projects, digital/social campaigns, consulting, and web builds. Joseph works closely with assigned clients to push the work to the boundaries of the brand, digital, and social space. Joseph is accountable for all deliverables released to clients and deployed to the market.

Joseph McGlumphy attended Miami University where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Marketing. Joseph also completed their high school education at Upper Arlington High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certification in Omni Foundations from Annalect in March 2023. Prior to that, in April 2021, they completed a course on Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, AI & Analytics at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In October 2019, they obtained an Advanced Admin certification from Sprinklr. Joseph is also enrolled in Facebook Blueprint and Twitter Flight School, although no specific completion dates are provided for these programs.
